The 9480H generates up to 7,200,000 counts/rev (after user’s 4x quadrature decode), which is a resolution of 0.00005°, or 0.18 arc seconds. All electronics are inside the encoder and the accuracy is ±2.5 arc seconds.
The encoder is available with a 60 mm hollow shaft and incorporates an internal flexible shaft coupling. The 9480H is interchangeable with common competitive products.
